The Girl With The Nightmares - The Final Battle

Once upon a time, there was a girl tormented by her own thoughts. She was in a constant internal war with the different contradictory parts and identities within herself.

Before going to school every day, she would look at herself in the mirror and wish she were someone else.

One day, she wanted to stand out and be praised by her teachers as a superstar. Another day, she just wanted to disappear. Most of the times, all she wanted was to fit in like everyone else and be accepted by the other kids at school.

She would always come home crying every evening, but no one could hear her tears and understand her pain.

One night, she had a nightmare. She found herself running away from bombs falling from the sky. People were crying, and children were screaming for their moms and dads. She was told they were fleeing from an evil queen who had turned kingdom upside down, from right to wrong, causing terror and destruction.

She woke up, sweaty, scared, and shaking with fear.

In the following days, every night, she would dream of the same dream. She would be a different character in her dream, always running away, but each time it was the same evil queen who had started a war , unleashed oppression and terror on the kingdom.

Until one night, she finally had enough. Instead of running away, she gathered all her strength and went to the tormented castle, knocking down the iron door. She couldn’t believe how strong she was. And most impressively, she managed to defeat the evil queen who had been causing injustice in the world.

After a bloody fight, she stood over the dying queen, next to the queen, there was a big golden mirror. And when she looked at herself in the mirror, she was shocked by what she saw in the reflection. She was the evil queen herself.

She woke up from that dream... The next day, she went to school. She was no longer trying to be someone else.
